On November 10, 2025, the Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) within the Department of Education (ED), released a notice inviting applications for the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education \u2013 Special Projects (FIPSE-SP) program for the FY 2025 competition. This competition specifically calls out four areas of national need-<\/p>\n

  1. Advancing the understanding and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in post-secondary education<\/li>\n
  2. Promoting civil discourse on college and university campuses<\/li>\n
  3. Promoting accreditation reform<\/li>\n
  4. Supporting capacity-building for high-quality short-term programs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Eligible applicants must submit their applications by December 3, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n
