ORS invites teams proposing\u00a0<b>novel, ambitious research initiatives<\/b>\u00a0with strong potential to elevate CU Denver\u2019s research reputation. This opportunity is open to\u00a0<b>all disciplines<\/b>\u00a0and seeks bold ideas that demonstrate creativity, intellectual merit, and a clear path to competitive extramural support.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>ORS anticipates awarding\u00a0<b>3\u20135 grants of $50K\u2013$75K<\/b>\u00a0to Denver-based teams that:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Pursue innovative and original lines of inquiry<\/li>\n<li>Are positioned to compete for external funding (e.g., federal, foundation, industry)<\/li>\n<li>Are ready to scale their research with strategic institutional support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>There are\u00a0<b>no thematic constraints<\/b>\u00a0at this stage. We especially welcome ideas that:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent a new direction or major expansion of existing work<\/li>\n<li>Have potential to establish and sustain a center of excellence<\/li>\n<li>Would benefit from initial funding and proposal development support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Stay tuned for the\u00a0official request for white papers, anticipated to be released on September 2, 2025.
