This is a reminder for supervisors to meet with their staff for a <strong>mid-year performance check-in<\/strong>. This check-in is an opportunity to foster an environment of support, highlight achievements, recognize successes, and address areas where additional guidance may be helpful.<\/p>\n<p>Recommended topics to discuss include: <strong>the status of performance goals and projects, areas where additional support may be needed, and guidance for corrections or development opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If this is a good time to include <strong>professional development<\/strong>, you can explore a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.cu.studio\/human\/professional_development\">list of professional development ideas on the CU Wiki<\/a><\/strong>. <em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>One recommended option is the <strong>15-minute self-directed course, <a href=\"https:\/\/share.percipio.com\/cd\/nwgQBBG2N\">CU: Skills for Mental Health Support \u2013 CU Denver<\/a><\/strong>. <em>(You will need to log in with your CU credentials to access this course.)<\/em> This course introduces the <strong>Recognize, Respond, and Refer<\/strong> framework to help you support CU Denver community members experiencing mental health challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Your <strong>mid-year check-in form<\/strong> is included in the <strong>Performance Management and Development Program Form<\/strong>, which is available in <strong>Excel format<\/strong> and was newly released in 2023.
