Note, there will be another application call in Spring 2025 if the budget permits.\u00a0 Grants are available to full time faculty (T\/TT,\u00a0IRC\/CT,\u00a0TPT,\u00a0Sr. Instructor &amp; Instructor). The\u00a0<b>maximum<\/b>\u00a0amount of the award is\u00a0<b>$1000 dollars per year.\u00a0<\/b>To be eligible for a grant, you\u00a0need to demonstrate use\u00a0of\u00a0your existing faculty development funds or plans\u00a0to exhaust all your funds (PD, grants, etc.) prior to\u00a0June 30, 2025.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Applications are due on\u00a0October 29, 2024<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><a href=\"https:\/\/ucdenverdata.formstack.com\/forms\/sehd_faculty_development_grant_application\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><u>Examples of SEHD Faculty Development Grants<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>*<\/b>Matching\u00a0funds for\u00a0larger\u00a0grants.<\/div>\n<div>*Support for a small pilot studies that encourages larger external grant proposals.<\/div>\n<div>*Travel support to present at international conferences or other special presentations.<\/div>\n<div>*Professional\u00a0translator to\u00a0transcript\u00a0survey\u00a0data.<\/div>\n<div>*Host forums or special workshops.<\/div>\n<div>*Research\u00a0software or other types of research materials.<\/div>\n<div>*Publication support for development of a manuscript, score, script, or a catalog resulting from an exhibition.<\/div>\n<div>*Support for a student hourly research assistant.<\/div>\n<div>*Materials required for portfolio development.<\/div>\n<div>*Support for developing new teaching pedagogies in the classroom.<\/div>\n<div>*Travel costs for faculty mentors to visit locally or for faculty to visit mentors.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><u>Approval Process (submit electronically)<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Faculty submits SEHD Faculty Development Grant application.<\/li>\n<li>The applications are prepared for review and submitted to the Dean\u00a0and Dean\u2019s team.<\/li>\n<li>The Dean and Dean\u2019s team\u00a0review grant requests and makes decision on the award.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty members are notified of the SEHD Faculty Development grant awards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dean Marvin Lynn has approved funds for\u00a0the SEHD Faculty Development Grant. \u00a0Applications are now open for\u00a0Fall\u00a02024 SEHD Faculty Development Grant.
