Over 100 participants representing 17 community teams from all over the state came together to talk about the importance of both the \u2019sending side\u2019 (early care and education) and the \u2018receiving side\u2019 (kindergarten) in the transition to kindergarten. Dr. Lisa Roy, Executive Director of CDEC, and Susana C\u00f3rdova, Commissioner of Colorado Department of Education, addressed the teams, signaling the importance of interagency coordination and collaboration in this important work.
