Counseling Telehealth<\/strong>\u00a0| We are implementing 40 Virtual Machines (VM) for clinic practicum students to work remotely with HIPAA compliant data security.\u00a0\u00a0In progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Classroom Upgrades<\/strong>\u00a0| LSC745 is under construction.\u00a0\u00a0We are installing ceiling microphones, 4k tracking cameras, a Zoom audience monitor, etc. LSC648 & LSC1150 will be next.\u00a0\u00a0In progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Classroom Tutorials<\/strong>\u00a0| We are developing on-demand tutorials and demonstrations for SEHD classrooms beginning with LSC1100 \u2013 the Rebecca Kantor Digital Atelier.\u00a0\u00a0Click, read, watch, use the room.\u00a0In progress.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Classroom Computers<\/strong>\u00a0| We are shifting from PCs to Macs in our classrooms.\u00a0\u00a0The majority of our faculty use the Mac OS and shifting will increase classroom usability for instruction.\u00a0\u00a0We are also testing Zoom Rooms \u2013 i.e. rooms that have no computer at all but are Zoom capable \u2013 walk in, touch a button to Zoom – plug in your laptop optional.\u00a0In progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Learning Agency<\/strong>\u00a0| Seven LDT students are working with 5 clients this Summer.\u00a0\u00a0They are producing courses, trainings, and explainer videos for Savory Global, AMC School of Psychiatry, the Colorado School of Public Health, the CEDC Center for Inclusive Design & Engineering, and SEHD Teacher Education.\u00a0\u00a0Five of our Agency students are graduating in August and we\u2019re onboarding 4 new students this Summer.\u00a0In progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

TechTAs<\/strong>\u00a0| We are partnering with Teacher Education to pilot teaching assistants specifically trained for classroom AV systems, Zoom facilitation, and other hybrid teaching systems.\u00a0 Training and development this Summer and activation in the Fall.\u00a0\u00a0In progress.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Upgrades<\/strong> | The ASPIRE App continues development, IMPACT upgrades are in progress, digital signage upgrades in progress, copier\/printers upgraded, student commons printer replaced, SEHD Web infrastructure improvements are ongoing. \u00a0 In progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Adobe Acrobat Pro<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0\u00a0All Adobe licensing is rebooting June-July 2023.\u00a0\u00a0Moving forward, Adobe Acrobat Pro can be licensed separately from the Adobe bundle for $18 per year.\u00a0\u00a0The full bundle can be licensed for $65 per year \u2013 Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.\u00a0\u00a0Current Adobe licenses cease functioning July 14. New license distribution begins July 15.\u00a0\u00a0Details on process are forthcoming.\u00a0\u00a0In progress<\/strong>\u00a0(OIT)<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Campus WiFi<\/strong>\u00a0| Upgrades to the wireless network are in progress in various campus buildings.\u00a0\u00a0The LSC is low on the list but some mention of\u00a0August<\/strong>\u00a0have been rumored.
