June 30, 2023 is the last day to use your Personal Observance Day for this Fiscal Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dear University Staff &amp; 12-month Faculty: if you are eligible for paid leave time and haven&#8217;t already used this benefit in fiscal year 2023, please plan ahead to schedule your Personal Observance Day. <\/span><strong>June 30th is the last day to use it. <\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This additional holiday can be used in observance of Juneteenth or another day of the employee\u2019s choosing.\u00a0 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">July 1 begins a new fiscal year and you will have a new Personal Observance Day to use.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To record this time on your MyLeave calendar: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">use Earnings Code \u201cPersonal Observance Day&#8221; <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Background: In May of 2022, Colorado and the University of Colorado officially recognized Juneteenth as a state holiday.
