Organizer:\u00a0Black Parents United Foundation<\/a><\/p>\n Phone: 720.742.7844<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The last week of BHM intentionally connect past-present-future, focused on career connection (public education\/mental health) and community (assets, resources, narratives)<\/p>\n The Black Resilience in Colorado Fund, or\u00a0BRiC<\/a>, is funding more than 100 Black-led and Black-serving metro Denver organizations while also keeping racial justice issues top of mind.<\/p>\n Struggle of Love<\/a>\u00a0is led solely by Black people who have, in many cases, experienced the same challenges their clients are wrestling with.<\/p>\n QueenShipp<\/a>, is an organization empowering young women, including queer and transgender girls and nonbinary youth, through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement. The organization offers a 16-week mentoring program, a summer camp to keep kids engaged, and in-school electives and enrichment courses where girls in fifth through 12th grade talk about self-love, gender identity, and sexual orientation.<\/p>\n Parents Thrive Colorado<\/a><\/p>\n This nationwide organization made it its mission to strip away stigmatization and ease the process of finding help.
