Dear University Staff & 12-month Faculty: As you may recall, in May of 2022, Colorado and the University of Colorado officially recognized Juneteenth as a state holiday. Here is the original <\/span>email from the CU President<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, eligible faculty and staff will have this additional holiday to use as a paid personal day of observance, which may be used in observance of Juneteenth or on another day of the employee\u2019s choosing. Employees may use their personal observance day on or <\/span>before June 30, 2023.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To record this time on your MyLeave calendar, use Earnings Code \u201cPersonal Observance Day.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
