EDI Working Groups: Continuing Conversations<\/h2>\n

Here’s how to participate:<\/p>\n

Affinity Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Black affinity group was started on December 2.
\nThis group is open to all SEHD faculty and staff who
\nidentify as Black. If you are interested in connecting
\nwith that group, let us know, and we’ll get you
\nconnected to the meetings on 2\/20 and 4\/26
\nfollowing SEHD faculty meetings. If you are interested
\nin forming another affinity group, let us know that as
\nwell and we’ll help make it happen.<\/p>\n

Inclusive Pedagogy\/Inclusive Curriculum<\/strong> –<\/p>\n

This group will meet on January 20, from 12-2pm.
\nIf you are interested in joining that group, let us know
\nand we’ll get you connected. This group will be developing
\nresources to support our SEHD pedagogies, focused on
\nequity. If you’d like more information about this group, let
\nus know.<\/p>\n

Discursive Topics<\/strong><\/p>\n

This group will meet monthly, on the 3rd Friday of
\neach month, starting on January 20. Participating in
\nthe group requires some commitment for
\nparticipation (this will not be a drop-in group). If
\nyou’re interested in joining, let us know that as well.
\nThis will be a great community to join if you’d like to
\nengage in discussions about issues you face in
\ngrowing in your professional practice.<\/p>\n
