From November 1, 2022, through February 28, 2023, students can apply for a new undergraduate scholarship to help them pursue their college education.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedream.us\/scholarships\/national-scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The National Scholarship<\/a>\u00a0is for DREAMers who are first-time college students living in Colorado, or\u00a0currently or previously enrolled in college or university undergraduate students\u00a0attending CU Denver intending to earn a bachelor\u2019s degree. This opportunity is open to undocumented immigrant students,\u00a0<b>with or without DACA or TPS<\/b>, who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2017. The one-time scholarship award\u00a0is for up to $16,500 for an associate\u2019s or up to $33,000 for a bachelor\u2019s degree. Those selected can use their scholarship to attend CU Denver.<\/p>\n<p>Students can schedule a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/outlook.office365.com\/owa\/calendar\/UndocumentedStudentServices1@olucdenver.onmicrosoft.com\/bookings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confidential appointment<\/a>\u00a0to be in English or Spanish with\u00a0<b>Est\u00e9fani Pe\u00f1a Figueroa,\u00a0<\/b>our new Undocumented Student Resource Coordinator who provides support to\u00a0undocumented, DACA, and immigrant students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Committed to providing critical resources that ensure the success of undocumented, asylee, and refugee students, CU Denver has partnered with TheDream.US, the nation\u2019s largest college access and success program for immigrant youth.
