{"id":16495,"date":"2022-10-19T14:26:26","date_gmt":"2022-10-19T20:26:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/?p=16495"},"modified":"2022-10-19T14:27:53","modified_gmt":"2022-10-19T20:27:53","slug":"national-p-3-center-hosts-premier-strategic-planning-event-in-san-diego-ca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/2022\/10\/19\/national-p-3-center-hosts-premier-strategic-planning-event-in-san-diego-ca\/","title":{"rendered":"National P-3 Center hosts premier strategic planning event in San Diego, CA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>This week, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nationalp-3center.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National P-3 Center<\/a>\u00a0is hosting 12 teams from across the country at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nationalp-3center.org\/national-p-3-institute-faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National P-3 Institute<\/a>\u00a0in San Diego, CA.\u00a0 This intensive, strategic planning \u201cretreat\u201d for approximately 100 people is the premier, biennial event of the Center.\u00a0 The Institute was first held in 2008, led by Harvard Graduate School of Education, and managed by Dr. Kristie Kauerz.\u00a0 When the National P-3 Center was established in 2013, the Institute became a foundational part of the Center\u2019s work.\u00a0 This year\u2019s participants include state-level teams from California, Hawai\u2019i Nevada, and New Jersey; regional-level teams from San Diego and southwest Washington; and school district teams from Anchorage (AK), Coachella Valley (CA), Highline (WA), Long Beach (CA), Portland (OR), and Yakima, (WA).<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This is also the perfect opportunity to introduce the amazing team at the National P-3 Center:\u00a0 Amy Brenton, Operations Manager; Stephanie Olmore, Sr. Professional Research Assistant, and Amber Minogue, Sr. Professional Research Assistant.\u00a0 Amy joined the Center in June after being with CPE for many years. Stephanie is an Ed.D. student in Executive Leadership and most recently was senior director of global engagement at National Association for the Education of Young Children.
