Learning (DTL) minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">We would like to shift our scope so it is not exclusively\u00a0<i>digital<\/i>\u00a0and more intently\u00a0<i>strategic<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>problem-solving<\/i> oriented.\u00a0 Our discussions and initiatives trend more broadly toward pedagogical and programmatic problems and potential solutions.\u00a0 Technology would remain a theme, but not an exclusive focus.\u00a0 Vis-\u00e0-vis, a design thinking committee prototyping positive change and disruptive innovations in service to the SEHD.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>Themes \/ Big Questions<\/b>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">How might we transcend bureaucratic barriers and systemic status quo?\u00a0<span class=\"x_apple-tab-span\">\u00a0Identify specific problems, and prototype solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">How might we positively affect and build digital community and engagement?\u00a0 How might we counter the\u00a0<i>Zoom affect<\/i>?<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">How might we spur innovation and creativity without further taxing people\u2019s time and attention?<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">How might we shape SEHD strategic planning with a focus on (a) enrollment growth, (b) digital affordances, and (c) new populations \/ modalities \/ models \/ strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>Commitments<\/b>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Let\u2019s continue the SEHD ethnography centered on digital effective practices.\u00a0 This will continue to inform our other works as well as SEHD strategic planning.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Let\u2019s define specific and measurable strategies that align with SEHD local-needs as well as the CU strategic plan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Let\u2019s continue community building and peer-professional-development relative to digital education, innovation, and impactful pedagogy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>Learning Community<\/b>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Let\u2019s continue to retain time in faculty meetings for facilitated discussion and activities.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Let\u2019s explore the realistic use of media to document and promote effective practices.\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Some kind of TEDx spotlight\u00a0?<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">A blog\/newsletter repository of invitations, provocations, and innovations ?<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">A student from the Learning Agency to assist ?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
