Jennifer’s teaching presentation will outline her experiences serving diverse families, while addressing how socialization has shaped her equity lens. Additionally, she will offer important insight to consider when engaging with diverse families and communities. Her presentation will offer takeaways and activities filled with reflection.<\/span> <\/b><\/p>\n

A brief bio for <\/span>Jennifer Camacho Taylor: Jennifer Camacho Taylor (she\/her\/ella) is a doctoral candidate in human development and family science, whose research focuses on the intersection of mental health and racial ethnic socialization. She has prioritized social justice while teaching as a college instructor, serving as a university DEI facilitator, through her scholarly writing, and in her daily work. She recognizes that the journey to cultural competency is never ending but that justice can be achieved.<\/span><\/p>\n
