This year, the window to update your health coverage lasts from April 19 &#8211; May 7. This is your chance to assess how well your current medical, dental or vision plans meet your needs and make any needed changes.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few key changes to CU\u2019s health plans for plan year 2021-22. You can\u00a0find an overview of these changes and more\u00a0on the Open Enrollment website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For complete information, see: <\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cu.edu\/employee-services\/open-enrollment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.cu.edu\/employee-services\/open-enrollment<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here are few quick things to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Passive enrollment<\/strong>:\u00a0If you would like to keep the same benefit choices, no action is required and you will be automatically re-enrolled. If you want to make a change, we&#8217;ll provide many ways to learn about and compare plans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>There&#8217;s one exception<\/strong>: You must actively enroll in Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for plan year 2021-2022.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Now is a good time to consider other benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0Do you need to update your beneficiaries, enroll in or adjust voluntary retirement contributions or make changes to your life insurance policies? Even though you can do these things anytime of year, Open Enrollment is a great time to take a closer look. Watch the Open Enrollment digital session to learn more starting April 19.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How to enroll:<\/strong>\u00a0You will make your Open Enrollment changes in the portal using the benefits enrollment tool.
