Chancellor Michelle Marks is granting\u00a0<\/span>faculty and staff\u00a0<\/span>an additional paid holiday on<\/span>\u00a0Martin Luther King Jr. Day<\/span>\u00a0(Monday, January 18, 2021)<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Click here to review\u00a0<\/span>the Chancellor<\/span>\u2019s email\u00a0<\/span>from<\/span>\u00a0December 8th<\/span>:\u00a0<\/span>“Additional Holiday on MLK Day”<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

University Staff<\/span>, State Classified Staff, and 12-month faculty<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>should e<\/span>nter this day in\u00a0<\/span>MyLeave<\/span>\u00a0with earnings code \u201cadministrative leave.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

9-month faculty do NOT need to do anything in the My Leave system.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This does not apply to\u00a0<\/span>positions that are ineligible for paid holidays (<\/span>student employees\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>temporary staff<\/span>)<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
