It is time for supervisors to meet with\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">thei<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">r staff for\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a mid-year\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">performance\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">check-in<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">SEHD HR has created an online form to facilitate\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">these\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">discussion<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This does not need to be a super formal process. Hopefully supervisors are already meeting with their<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0direct reports on a regular basis. We suggest you take some time at one of your upcoming meetings to review the responses\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">on the Formstack form (below is the Formstack link). <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Responses are focused on\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the status of performance\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">goals and specific projects<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When meeting, s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">uperviso<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">r<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0should encourage staff member<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0to<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0guide the conversation<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0regarding what is going well, what is not, and where they can use some support<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Supervisors should\u00a0take the opportunity to acknowledge successes and offer course correction and development opportunity\u00a0(if applicable)\u00a0for any missed marks.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">U<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">niversity staff should\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">use the following link\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">fill ou<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and submit the form\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">at your earliest convenience<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">so you and your supervisor can have a check-in meeting before the end of August.
