{"id":14141,"date":"2020-02-25T08:47:36","date_gmt":"2020-02-25T15:47:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/?p=14141"},"modified":"2020-02-25T08:47:40","modified_gmt":"2020-02-25T15:47:40","slug":"acue-courses-for-all-faculty-great-teaching-is-at-the-heart-of-student-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehd.ucdenver.edu\/impact\/2020\/02\/25\/acue-courses-for-all-faculty-great-teaching-is-at-the-heart-of-student-success\/","title":{"rendered":"ACUE Courses for all Faculty: Great Teaching is at the Heart of Student Success"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning\u00a0partnered with the\u00a0Association of College and University\u00a0Educators (ACUE) to provide\u00a0\u200ba targeted initiative aimed at providing support for faculty to learn about and apply proven teaching techniques. \u00a0During the 2020-2021. faculty\u00a0will be chosen to participate in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/acue.org\/acue_courses\/effective-teaching-practices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Course in Effective Teaching Practi\u200bce<\/a> or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/acue.org\/acue_courses\/online-teaching-essentials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Online Teaching\u00a0Essentials<\/a>. The goal of these courses are to\u00a0prepare\u00a0college instructors to use research-based techniques that help students succeed.
