On February 28th, 2020 the third annual Tri-Institutional Faculty Forum will convene in the Tivoli Turnhalle. We will continue with the 2019 event format. Our keynote will be given by Saundra McGuire, Emerita Professor of Chemical Education at LSU and a nationally recognized expert in metacognition and we will again have presentations by a \u201clocal expert\u201d from each institution, and Q&A sessions with both the presenters and a student panel.\u200b\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Saundra McGuire, Director Emerita of the Center for Academic Success and retired Professor of Chemistry at Louisiana State University. She is best known for her work in science education. Her interests focus on improving student learning by involving faculty in metacognitive learning strategies.\u200b\u200b\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
