What might it mean for all students in public schools to be treated as “dignity-bearing” persons? What does it mean to dream socially? Along with members of the\u00a0\u200bRight to Learn<\/em>\u00a0(R2L) undergraduate research collective, Dr. Manuel Espinoza explores the origins and meanings of dignity in relation to education. As a remedy for addressing historical inequalities, the idea of amending the “education clause” of the Colorado constitution is introduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us for an evening with\u00a0Dr. Espinoza to learn more about his distinguished research. The lecture and Q&A session will last approximately one hour.\u00a0\u00a0A public reception will follow the lecture in the Student Commons Speer Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
