The Inter-American Symposium on Ethnographic Research in Education has taken place every three to four years since 1989 in South, Central and North America. The symposium is a well-known hub for Latin American scholars and gathers a vibrant community of educational ethnographers working in a variety of locations and countries and across disciplinary boundaries: anthropologists, educators, linguists, \u00a0and sociologists.
