Projects include both quantitative and qualitative studies.<\/p>\n<p>Research topics feature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parent and family influences (e.g., SES, education, expectations, encouragement, support, parenting styles) on first generation or female college students&#8217; academic achievement, self-esteem, self-efficacy, motivation, stress, and health<\/li>\n<li>The influences of college students&#8217; stress about study or family matters on their academic performances (e.g., GPA)<\/li>\n<li>the influences of sleep quality on college students&#8217; academic performances, stress, health, and life satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please mark your calendars for this poster session and come to see the undergraduate students&#8217; excellent research studies!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>May 16 from 2:15 to 3:15 pm at LSC 648 Refreshments will be served.
