The theme for the 2018 Conference is Leading Beyond the Binary. Our goal is to use this theme to interrogate and extend assumptions about both \u201cgender\u201d and \u201cleadership\u201d: How can we challenge norms about what constitutes \u201ceffective leadership\u201d? What kinds of leadership are less visible in our culture, and how might we amplify them? How do gender equity concerns and norms for gender identity and expression impact leaders of all genders?\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n<p>We are still seeking workshop proposals for this event. We invite proposals that take on this year\u2019s theme in content, substance, or both. It\u2019s our hope to provide an experience that challenges assumptions about what \u201cleadership\u201d can look like. Proposals can be submitted by individuals or by groups.
