Below is a list of services we provide along with other unique requests.\u00a0 If your request is research-related we strive to help!<\/div>\n<div id=\"ctl00_PlaceHolderMain_ctl09__ControlWrapper_RichHtmlField\" class=\"ms-rtestate-field\">\n<p><strong>Research support throughout the research process:\u00a0<em>From Idea to Project to Publication<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Literature\/article searches<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is not a full literature review but if you need a quick literature scan of about 10 articles we can do that.\u00a0 You can also contact Auraria Library:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:kelly.mccusker@ucdenver.edu)\">Kelly<\/a>\u00a0is the education librarian or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lorrie.evans@ucdenver.edu\">Lorrie<\/a>\u00a0is one of our social sciences librarians.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grant searches<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact the Office of Research Development and Education (ORDE) whose services include personalized grant searches (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucdenver.edu\/orde\">www.ucdenver.edu\/orde<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lynette.michael@ucdenver.edu\">Lynette Michael<\/a>\u00a0and\/or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:naomi.nishi@ucdenver.edu\">Naomi Nishi<\/a>).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Proposal help and review<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you need help organizing and writing a proposal let us know.\u00a0 We are also a great resource to review it before you submit (please allow at least a week!).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Methodology consultation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Need help brainstorming an appropriate research method?\u00a0 We offer support with quantitative, qualitative, &amp; mixed methodologies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Partner organizations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you need help finding or working with a partner organization, ask us!\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.c-peer.org\/\">C-PEER<\/a>\u00a0is also working actively to gather appropriate data privacy agreements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data Collection Support<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quantitative data collection support includes creating and distributing surveys and measures.\u00a0 Qualitative data collection support includes help with observations, interviews, focus groups, &amp; documents.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Transcription<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We can support you in finding companies or GA\u2019s with price and turnaround time comparisons.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data Analysis Support<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This includes quantitative support like data entry and cleaning support, descriptive statistics, and inferential stats (ANOVA, correlation, regression, chi-square) as well as advanced stats modeling.\u00a0 It also includes qualitative analysis like coding, themes, triangulation, and inter-rater reliability.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Help Choosing Analysis<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have collected a lot of data but don\u2019t know what to do next, contact us!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Software Support<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This includes SPSS, Excel, Qualtics (survey program), and DeDoose (qualitative program)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Edits and Review<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you need another set of eyes on an article or grant proposal, send it over!\u00a0 If you need strict APA edits please consider\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucdenver.edu\/academics\/colleges\/CLAS\/faculty-staff\/Pages\/Faculty-Staff.aspx\">CLAS<\/a>, but if you want peer-reviewed edits before submission or re-submission this is the place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growing Research Knowledge and Comfort through\u00a0<em><u>Video Refreshers<\/u><\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Methodology comparisons (when to use each typology and the parts and pieces associated)<\/li>\n<li>Descriptive statistics (central tendency, variability, distributions, relative standing)<\/li>\n<li>Inferential stats refresher (hypothesis testing, t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, regression, and chi-square)<\/li>\n<li>Power and Effect Size (using G*Power, estimating sample size needed)<\/li>\n<li>Qualitative analysis using DeDoose<\/li>\n<li>Inter rater reliability techniques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Building Resources for Your Research Toolbox<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Methodology comparisons and examples (i.e. why would I use a case study verses phenomenology?)<\/li>\n<li>Specific proposal resources (i.e. I\u2019m doing a case study\u2026now what?)<\/li>\n<li>Data collection resources (workshops, books, articles, videos) \u2013 separated by specific techniques<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis resources (workshops, books, articles, videos) \u2013 separated by techniques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact the Center at 303-315-4969 or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sehdresearchcenter@ucdenver.edu\">sehdresearchcenter@ucdenver.edu<\/a>\u00a0to inquire about a service that is not included above.\u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Save the date: Using DeDoose for Qualitiative Analysis on October 19th 12:00-1:30, lunch provided.
