This project has the ambitious goal of engaging a community of faculty in course transformation and continued professional development. \u00a0An important common element for the faculty in this community is teaching courses for pre-service elementary teachers and general education students. Participating faculty are committed to using the <em>Next Generation Physical Science and Everyday Thinking<\/em> (<em>Next Gen PET<\/em>) curriculum.<em> Next Gen PET<\/em> is a research-based, NGSS-aligned, physical science curriculum designed specifically for pre-service elementary teachers. It is also suitable for general education students.
