– Presented by Dr. Veronica Barrios, candidate for Assistant Professor of Family Diversity and Social Justice in Human Development & Family Relations (HDFR), Tenure Track
Our understanding regarding the prevalence and disclosure of violence victimization is contingent on our understanding of intersectional identities. Investigating the culture of nondisclosure, neuroscience, and synergistic trauma is critical to building on the inherent strengths in marginalized communities and dismantling barriers to disclosure of violence.
