– Presented by Sarah Mendoza, candidate for Assistant Professor, Tenure Track for Counseling (COUN)   

Ms. Mendoza will review her research experience in mixed methods phenomenology, single case research design, and lab participation at UCF. Ms. Mendoza research focuses on what works and how to take lived experiences and quantitative data to further evidence based treatment in counseling. 

 A brief bio for Sarah Mendoza: Sarah Mendoza is a doctoral candidate at the University of Central Florida. Sarah has worked in mental health care for more than ten years in higher levels of care. Sarah is a licensed mental health counselor and qualified supervisor in the state of Florida and a nationally certified counselor. Sarah is presently working on her dissertation focused on parents and children living with autism spectrum disorder and how the parent-child connection can enhance social-emotional development.
